Today is day 20 of a journey towards a healthier me...I want to share my progress and encourage you to the first step of your own journey. I started out by giving up sugar and any type of flour. I am happy to say it hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be. No cravings and my food tastes better than it did previously as I am eating as clean as possible. When I want something sweet, I eat a banana, apple, grapes, or a small teaspoon of manuka honey. I did notice that when I cut back on the fruit the weight came off quicker. Another change up is that I am taking about 2000MG of Magnesium Glycinate. I have not really noticed any difference there yet. I am a pretty good sleeper so that wasn't an issue. I am also taking Ivermectin to detox from worms and parasites, trying to get my body back to a healthy state so that it can begin to do what it needs to do to heal. I hope everyone enjoyed the last summer holiday! I took a few days to get caught up on work and take some personal time. Summer is slipping away and I hate to miss a minute of it! I think that one thing I can share that I have learned over the past year is that doing little things add up. Step by step you can start to impact your overall health and implement new habits and way of life. Below are just a few things that I have started doing: Reading labels and staying away from things with a long ingredient list of things I don't know. Watching portion sizes. Trying to stay as "natural" as possible. I no longer do gel manicures, after I realized the damage it was causing my nails and not to mention soaking up the chemicals in my skin to remove them. Changing makeup and toiletries to more "clean" ingredients. Your skin is the largest organ in your body and soaks up all the "bad" ingredients. Cutting out or back on soft drinks or alcohol.
