Week 1, Day 2
Week 1, Day 2
I am so excited to see how many people have joined me. How exciting to be able to share what God is doing in my life and to hopefully be able to make an impact on others! Over the next few days you will hopefully see many changes coming as I am recruiting my daughter to help make the blog nicer and have more features. Stay tuned....
So to get to the real point - Yesterday I shared that I was fasting and hopefully you can read the many benefits. Once again pointing to God, ever notice how when you are sick that you lose your appetite? That is your body putting itself into a state of fasting to begin to heal and repair!
I didn't get to do the sauna due to some electric issues we are working out but I did do the vibration machine. The vibration is good to get your lymphatic system going - very important because that is the pathways your body uses to clear out toxins. If you don't have access to a vibrating machine, you can rebound on a trampoline. We have one of the small ones that you can have inside to jump on. 2-10 minutes a day will make a huge difference in a short amount of time. A lymphatic massage that you can learn to do at home (or you can go have one done) offers the following benefits:
- Helps with detoxification
- Helps boost the immune system
- Reduces edema
- Promotes relaxation
- Improves skin health
- Helps reduce inflammation
- Reduces fluid retention
- Helps promote weight loss
- Alleviates sinus congestion
I also did some red light therapy. I have a small bracelet type red light device. There are many small devices that range from $100 and up. A few of the red light therapy benefits are:
- Helps with collagen production
- Reduces inflammation
- Increases blood circulation
- Improves wound healing
- Improves skin texture
- Relieves joint pain
